Anthony J. Vizzoni
Anthony Vizzoni specializes in handling transactions and contracts related to land development, real estate financing and construction.
Prior to joining Becker Meisel, Mr. Vizzoni served for ten years as Corporate Counsel to the Vizzoni group, a well-respected real estate development firm. As Corporate Counsel, Mr. Vizzoni gained vast experience in all aspects of real estate law and a particular expertise in handling transactions related to land development, real estate financing and construction. His regular duties ranged from representing both buyers and sellers in closing of title to significant tracts of property, overseeing the obtainment of development approvals at various governmental levels, representing borrowers for multi-million dollar mortgage financing loans and follow-up loan compliance, representing entities in I.R.C. section 1031 tax deferred exchanges, forming Homeowners' Associations, and counseling the company on all other aspects of real estate development and construction transactions.
As a past Director of Business Development for the Vizzoni group, Mr. Vizzoni played a key role in leading the real estate firm into different business ventures such as mortgage financing, commercial insurance, water/wastewater facility design/build services and hospitality services. In this role, Mr. Vizzoni oversaw both the business end of transactions and the legal end.
As Corporate Counsel, he has also been instrumental in all litigation matters in which the Firm has been involved in inclusive of minority/majority shareholder disputes, homeowner warranty matters, contractor/subcontractor disputes, real estate title disputes, Mt. Laurel affordable housing litigation, land use law litigation and loan workouts.
Mr. Vizzoni also possesses significant experience in dealing with various local, State and county agencies associated with the developmental process including, but not limited to, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Prior to joining the Vizzoni group, Mr. Vizzoni worked with the law firm of Buynak and Deniflee, Esqs.
