Summer Associate Program
The Summer Associate Program represents the Firm's primary source for recruiting new attorneys. The Program is designed to provide law students with an experience similar to that of new associates at the Firm.
Summer associates are given a broad range of assignments. The diversity of assignments permit summer associates an opportunity to work with attorneys in each of the Firm's practice areas. Summer associates take part in meetings with clients, courtroom activities and depositions.
Each summer associate is given a mentor. The mentor is available to provide advice and insight to the summer associate on all matters related to life and work at the Firm. In addition to informal daily feedback, summer associates are provided with two formal reviews.
Becker Meisel recruits and hires only those law students that it believes have the potential to have successful careers at the Firm. The Firm has a strong commitment to offering full time associates positions to summer associates who successfully complete the Firm's summer associate program.
