BECKER MEISEL CELEBRATES 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Experienced in RE Finance, Investment and Development as well as Construction Law, Boutique Law Firm is Regarded as a Leader in Redevelopment Law in N.J.

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Oct. 9, 2007 – Legal issues can arise during any phase of a major real estate development, redevelopment or construction project. For Martin Borosko, Esq., managing member of the Livingston, N.J.-based Becker Meisel LLC, and the Firm’s seasoned team of attorneys, solving those complex matters – and preventing future obstacles at the same time – is all in a day’s work. The law firm, which has earned a reputation as a leader in redevelopment law and eminent domain in the Garden State, is now celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

"Given the amount of financial resources, time and effort involved, it’s not surprising that critical legal issues can surface at almost any point during a large-scale project," Borosko commented. He has worked on complex real estate and construction problems since graduating from Rutgers School of Law in 1992.

"Whenever we are asked to tackle a pressing issue, we focus not only on the issue at hand but also on the big picture,” added Borosko. “A solution to a short-term problem is only the right solution if it works in the context of the entire project."

In 2000, Borosko brought his real estate law experience to Becker Meisel, which, at the time, focused on corporate bankruptcy law. The Firm was representing a number of developers and other interested parties in the purchase of real estate in bankruptcy cases including the acquisition of redevelopment rights for a client.
