Funds Will Support Vital Programs to Aid At-Risk Children and Families

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Oct. 29, 2007 – The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHS of NJ), the 113-year-old, non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of children and building healthy families, raised $8,000 at its recent benefit “A Grand Wine And Scotch Tasting,” which drew more than 200 guests. Proceeds from the event are earmarked for CHS of NJ’s direct services and will enable the non-profit to continue its mission to serve thousands of at-risk children and families each year in New Jersey and Bucks County, Pa.

“Each year, this fundraiser provides the unique opportunity to support the Children’s Home Society’s vital programs while enjoying a remarkable variety of top wines thanks to the Wine Legend in Livingston, the event’s sponsor and organizer,” remarked Stacey Meisel, Esq., founding partner of the Livingston, N.J.-based law firm Becker Meisel LLC. A member of the board of directors of the CHS of NJ since 2003, Meisel chaired this event for the past three years and has also chaired the non-profit’s annual gala.
