Former Summer Associates of Boutique Law Firm Cite “Open Door” Policy and Mentoring Program as Key Reasons for Return

 

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Nov. 29, 2007 – Brian Bailey, Esq., of Livingston, N.J., and Evan Neadel, Esq., of Hoboken, N.J., have joined the law firm of Becker Meisel LLC as associates. Bailey will focus his practice on corporate law and Neadel will concentrate on litigation. Both had previously served as summer associates at Becker Meisel, which has offices in Livingston and Shrewsbury, N.J., as well as Manhattan.

Founded in 1998 as a two-person operation focusing on corporate bankruptcy law, Becker Meisel now includes 10 practice areas and more than 20 attorneys. In May of 2006, Bailey received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, Camden and his M.B.A. with a concentration in international business from Rutgers Business School, where he graduated with honors. During law school, Bailey served as a research and teaching assistant for Professor Amy Montemarano and was also a research assistant for Professor Richard Hyland. In 2004, he worked as an intern for the Essex County Prosecutor, Appellate Division. He joined Becker Meisel in March of 2007.

Neadel joined Becker Meisel as an associate in September of 2007. Previously, Neadel served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lawrence M. Lawson, Assignment Judge of Monmouth County, where he was also a judicial intern in the summer of 2004. Neadel was a legislative intern for the Judiciary Committee in the Office of Congressman Darrell Issa in 2002. He graduated with his J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2006.
