The Summer Associate Program represents the firm's primary source for recruiting new attorneys. The Program is designed to provide law students with an experience similar to that of new associates at the firm.

Summer associates are given a broad range of assignments, which permits them an opportunity to work with attorneys in each of the firm's practice areas. Summer associates take part in meetings with clients, courtroom activities and depositions.

Each summer associate is given a mentor who is available to provide advice and insight on all matters related to life and work at the firm. In addition to informal daily feedback, summer associates are provided with two formal reviews.

Becker Meisel recruits and hires only those law students that it believes have the potential to have successful careers at the firm. We have a strong commitment to offering full-time associates positions to summer associates who successfully complete the firm's program.
